Equality, Leadership, Community, Justice:
Making it Happen

Since 1911, the National Legal Aid & Defender Association has been a leader in the nation’s quest to ensure equal access to justice for all persons in America, regardless of economic status. As our pursuit of equal justice continues, outstanding individuals emerge to set an example of extraordinary dedication, achievement and leadership. For the past 14 years, we have gathered at this annual dinner to pay tribute to lawyers and other advocates who labor tirelessly to represent people who are unable to pay for legal assistance.
