Basic Field Grants

Since 1996, LSC basic field grants have been awarded on the basis of a system of competitive bidding. The basic structure of the competition is described in Part 1634 of the LSC regulations.

Technology Initiative Grant (TIG) Program

Since 2000, Congress has appropriated funds for special technology grants for LSC recipients. The primary purpose of the Technology Initiative Grants program is to promote full access and high-quality legal representation through the use of technology.
