This is a report by the NYS Commission of Investigation (June, 2007) concerning allegations of negligence & misconduct in connection with fingerprint analysis in the NYPD crime lab in Queens in 2004. The technical review process was "flawed" and the lab was too slow in notifying the DA's Offices affected of the problems.
